SSuite Grabby is a screen recorder that runs directly inside your web browser using pure HTML5 and javascript code. It utilizes the most efficient audio and video codecs to make web deployment a total breeze and also to make your recordings take up less space on your social media accounts or website. It makes viewing so much faster as it is more compact and faster to render to screen.

We've kept the controls as simple as possible. As can been seen from the above screenshots, you may simply select the option you need to use and then just click to proceed.

If you take a look at the bottom two buttons, you will see that the left button will take you to another Grabby edition that uses much higher definition codecs for your audio and video recordings. When recording video, it will encode with the VP8 codec which will deliver a much higher quality video. For audio in this edition of Grabby, it uses PCM which is uncompressed sound or the exact sound that your system is configured for. This is the highest quality audio you can record.

Please take note that when using PCM as your audio codec, it will also enlarge the recorded file by a factor of ±10 compared to the more compact codec used by the first Grabby edition. For example, on the original edition it will take ±5MB to create a 21 sec audio/video clip, but on the high-definition edition it will take ±50MB in clear high quality audio/video.

  Standard Codecs:

• Video codec - H264/X-Matroska
• Audio codec - AVC1/Opus
• Microphone Count = min 1 - max 2
• WebCam Quality = min HD - max FHD
• Audio Quality = min 16/48kHz - max 24/192kHz

  High-Definition Codecs:

• Video codec - VP8
• Audio codec - PCM
• Microphone Count = min 1 - max 2
• WebCam Quality = min HD - max FHD
• Audio Quality = min 16/48kHz - max 24/192kHz

All recordings will be saved in the Webm format. If you require a different audio/video format, simply click on the top-left button which will take you to another third-party website where you will be able to convert your Webm file to any other format you wish, for free. This website also has an online video editor with which you may use to edit your recordings with.
